Twistin' Time é uma excelente compilação de “Twist” que reúne bandas quase desconhecidas e temas retirados do vinil, há muito esquecidos e outros muito raros.

Os grupos aparecem, cada um no seu estilo, introduzindo nas suas interpretações, fantásticos solos instrumentais, de onde se salientam o saxofone, o órgão e alguns solos de guitarra já bem evoluídos para a época, fazendo-nos recuar para os finais dos anos 50 e início dos anos 60.

De recordar que o "Twist" como género musical foi introduzido através do tema "The Twist", em 1959, por Hank Ballard, tendo sido tornado mais conhecido e famoso pela interpretação de Chubby Checker, juntando-lhe o estilo de dança.
