Una Valli foi uma das melhores vozes soul da África do Sul. Una nasceu em Joanesburgo, África do Sul em 29 de Abril de 1950. Ela cantou com um grupo chamado The Hustlers, em 1964 e com outros grupos. The Dominoes estave na formação original dos Peanut Butter Conspiracy. Valli foi descoberta pelo locutor John Walker, que conseguiu que ela aparecesse no Springbok radio's "Star of Tomorrow" e o resto é história ...
Primeira-dama da música soul dos anos 60 na África do sul, Una Valli obteve boas referências tanto da Motown como da Atlantic, e dizem os críticos que a ouviram, que não ficava nada atrás do que já tinha sido feito por Aretha Franklin ou Etta James.
Neste disco Valli tem o apoio de duas excelentes bandas sul africanas, The Flames e The Peanut Butter Conspiracy.
