“Basket of Light” é um álbum de estúdio do grupo britânico de folk rock Pentangle, gravado nos estúdios IBC, em Londres e lançado pela editora Transatlantic Records, em Outubro de 1969. Alcançou o 5º lugar na tabela de álbuns do Reino Unido. O single "Light Flight", tema da primeira série dramática a cores da BBC1, “Take Three Girls”, atingiu o 43º lugar na tabela de singles do Reino Unido. Outro single, "Once I Had a Sweetheart", atingiu o 46º lugar. O álbum foi incluído nos livros, 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die e 1,000 Recordings to Hear Before You Die.

Pentangle é uma banda folk britânica, em actividade de 1967 a 1973. Reuniu-se de novo em 1981. A formação original era composta por Jacqui McShee, vocalista. John Renbourn, guitarra, Bert Jansch, guitarra, Danny Thompson, baixo e Terry Cox, bateria. A sua carreira decorre desde 1967 a 1973 e de 1981 até à actualidade.
