Bimbo Jet was a name of a French disco group from the mid 1970s. They had their brief moment in 1975 when their dance song "El Bimbo" became a big hit in UK and topped the chart in 6 countries in Europe, including France, Spain, and Denmark. In US, the song topped the Billboard Disco singles chart and became no.43 hit on Hot 100 chart.
