Fantástica compilação (Vol. 1) que reúne 25 temas raros interpretados por algumas das melhores bandas de surf dos 60’s, do Sul da Califórnia/EUA. 

Aqui apresentamos alguns temas de vários músicos talentosos, entre eles, P.J. and Artie e The Journeymen. Paul (PJ) Johnson foi um virtuoso guitarrista e compositor com um estilo próprio mas que também tentou a aproximação ao estilo dos britânicos The Shadows. 

Muitos dos temas são tocados de uma forma surpreendentemente elegante. Nota-se claramente a diferenciação de estilos e a forma diferente dos vários intérpretes, o que valoriza ainda mais o álbum.
