Carlos Alberto Vidal é um músico português, nascido na Lousã, em 1954. 

"Changri-Lá", é lançado em 1976. É um disco singular na sua carreira. É considerado um marco em termos de rock progressivo feito em Portugal. 

Babilónia is a portuguese record label who specializes on reissuing portuguese musical works on vinyl format. The label urges from the need to make accessible for everyone records that are forgotten or 

inaccessible to the general public. 

We have the simple proposition to reissue albums that we feel should be appreciated again for an accessible price.

The first and only LP by Carlos Alberto Vidal, entitled Changri-Lá, was the work chosen for the first project. 

The choice was quite obvious for us, since it is a fundamental piece of portuguese music and, at the same time, for being composed by an author that is very dear to the portuguese public. 

Carlos Alberto Vidal became more known on the national panorama by, during the eighties, creating “Avô Cantigas”, which is a singer persona for the children’s audience. 

But before this, when he was only 22 years old, he recorded the album Changri-Lá. On this record, Carlos Vidal brings us a musical experiment that crosses in a very 

particular way the popular portuguese music with annotations of progressive rock. It’s an LP that deserved a reissue, since nowadays it’s very hard to find due to the lack of copies from the original edition.

Released in 1976, this year completes its 40th anniversary, and Babilónia is in charge to bring back this unique album, so that everybody can listen and appreciate it again in its fullness
